The Garden Project has set up a pilot smallholder farm in St Martins, situated in the North West of Shropshire, UK. Through various farming experiments, we aimed to identify optimal practices for maximising yields on limited land. Our calculations were encouraging, they show that out methods could generate ample, edible biomass to support multiple families for a year. This hands-on demonstration will realise the promise of sustainable agriculture in addressing food security concerns.
